Books are wonderful things. They allow us to learn, to imagine, and sometimes to escape. The written word is a valuable resource, even in this day of all-encompassing electronic media. You can read a book anywhere, and you can’t beat the price…especially with book clubs. Book clubs allow us to get our hands on multiple books at once; books of particular interest to us brought right to our doors. A great club can be found at the Literary Guild site. It is a fairly basic site, but that’s okay. Simplicity works well here. The color scheme is pleasing to the eye, and the layout is easy to follow. The books here are mostly best-sellers, romances, self-help books…there’s some really wonderful stuff. The way the club works is like this: upon signing up, you will choose five books from the list presented. This will be your initial order, and it will be unbelievably inexpensive. After that, you will need to purchase at least four more books at regular club prices within two years. It really is a fantastic deal. Satisfaction is guaranteed, and you may return your initial books within ten days if dissatisfied. Your membership will then be cancelled. If you’re looking for some really high-quality reading, this is a great place to start. All in all, this is a great site and a great deal.
