There is nothing else quite like music. That said, there is no artist quite like the musician. The needs of musicians are very specialized, what with musical instruments, recording equipment, et al. Finding a place to fulfill all of these wide-ranging needs is difficult for almost any musician; especially a musician who doesn’t live in an urban area. It is for just these people that internet shopping came to be. It really is what online retailing is all about…bringing products to consumers that ordinarily would be unable to get them easily. Musician’s Friend is such a site. It is a well-put-together site, if a shade cluttered. Still, a tiny bit of clutter is pretty much impossible to avoid when you have as much information to present as this site does. Also, there is no discernible drop-off in navigability even with so much going on. The images are very crisp, and most are enlargeable, allowing closer, more detailed examination. There is just so much to see at this site. The focus is on stringed instruments and percussion, with plenty of other items like recording setups and DJ equipment. There is also plenty of sheet music to choose from, plus a large selection of books and videos. There are other interesting features as well…articles, contests, even some downloadable stuff. The fact is, this site is perfect for any musician, whether a seasoned veteran or a newcomer. Just about everything you could want or need is waiting to be found at Musician’sFriend.com.
