Leaps and Bounds is a site devoted to products for children and their mothers. They sell educational toys and other merchandise for children, including some furnishings. There are some sections that focus on more adult items, but for the most part this is a children’s site. As such, it is a very good one. This site is well-conceived and functional; extremely user-friendly. The layout and color scheme are pleasant to look at, and navigation through the site is a snap. The signup process only takes a few minutes, and while the ordering process does take a little longer, it’s still fairly painless. The multi-tiered search feature ensures that you will be able to locate whatever you want whenever you want it. The inventory that has been assembled here is a fun and diverse one, not to mention top-of-the-line. There are some really excellent learning-focused items here; things that will really help a child. There are any number of things…from arts and crafts kits to a bunk/trundle bed, it’s all here. The site presents many wonderful things to help children learn to enjoy and relish the educational process. Some of the other interesting features of this website include the Parent Invented section, which consists entirely of products invented by parents for their children, and the Finder’s Keepers program. Through this program, Leaps and Bounds rewards customers for calling attention to lesser-known products. If a recommended product becomes part of the inventory, the person who suggested it receives a gift certificate. It’s a neat idea, and that sort of personal involvement inspires loyalty. All in all, this is a good site that sells good products.
